Hello My Name Is...
Kate Harsha
I am so excited to be your child’s 2nd /3rd grade ELAR teacher. (I will be 2nd grades homeroom teacher.) I previously taught ELAR in junior high and 4th/5th. I was born and raised in Texas and have lived here all my life. I moved to the Bynum area with my family in 2017 from Dallas. (Quite the change for us!) Before entering education, I was a marketing coordinator for a civil engineering firm.
I have two children, Jonathan (10) and Jason (8), who attend Bynum.
My goal for the year is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is valued and trusted. I am very excited for the school year and look forward to working together to further your child’s education.
