Hi! I'm Mrs. Coffelt!
This is my 7th year teaching and my 3rd year at Bynum! I have a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Master's of Education from Tarleton State University. I am currently working towards my Educational Doctorate degree at Tarleton State University and hope to graduate in May of 2025. My favorite part of teaching is watching students discover their passions and become excited about learning. I love teaching using a hands on approach and connecting with field experts outside the classroom.
I am married to my husband, Jason, and together we share our home with 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, and 4 chickens! In my spare time I enjoy photography and travel. My favorite place in the United States to visit is the Royal Gorge in Colorado, and I hope to someday visit Germany and Scotland! Some of my favorite things are the color purple, penguins, Mexican food, coffee, laughing, chocolate, colorful pens, and winter. My ideal day off is a cold, rainy day, curled up on my couch with a book.
